Customer Facilities
The facilities available at Southgate
Southgate offers several facilities for the use of customers. These facilities have been put in place to assist customers and help them have a great time while they are visiting the precinct. The facilities are properly maintained and kept in good working order at all times to make sure the customer suffers no inconvenience during the time they spend in Southgate.
Public Toilets for Male and Female
Ground Floor
The toilets on the ground floor are down the passage, right in between Kikki.K and Mary Martin Bookshop. The toilets for the food court can be through the auto doors next to Salsa’s and Ali Baba.
Mid Level
The toilets on the mid-level are at either end of the floor. To the east, they ate down the passageways close to La Camera Southgate, to the west, the passageways close to Hophaus.
Upper Level
The toilets on the upper level are up the passageway right in between Origin and American Rag. You must note that this passageway also includes a set of stairs.
Podium Level
The podium level does not have any toilet, and you have to use the Upper or Mid-level toilets.
Accessible Public Toilet
There are public toilets within Southgate that are accessible for those using wheelchairs.
Ground Level
There is an accessible toilet in the Food Court through the auto doors next to Salsa’s and Ali Baba.
Mid Level
There is an accessible toilet on the east side of the mid-level, just behind Max Therapy.
Baby Care Facilities
You can bring your kid to Southgate and not worry about the inconvenience when you need to take care of the child, feed or change diapers.
Baby Care Room
The Southgate Baby Care Room is on the Mid Level and behind Max Therapy. The room contains changing facilities, a dedicated child and adult toilet, high chair, a microwave, and two private rooms for breastfeeding.
High Chairs
There are high chairs in the Baby Care Room and Southgate Food Court. Some restaurants within the precinct also provide high chair facilities, but we advise that you should contact a restaurant before going there if you will need high chair facilities, so you will know if they have or not.
Accessibility
Wheelchair and Pram Access
You can reach any level of the restaurant precinct through the elevators at the centre of each mall. The public elevator can be accessed through the Southgate Car Park.
Automatic Teller Machines
ATMs are also available within Southgate.
Westpac, Commonwealth Bank, ANZ
The ATMs can be found beneath the escalator by the central entrance ground floor close P.J. O’Brien’s Irish Pub and Lindt Chocolate Café.
Bank of Melbourne
The ATMs are also on the ground floor close to Mary Martin Bookshop and P.J. O’Brien’s Irish Pub.
Photocopying and fax services
You can get fax and photocopying services at Southgate News and Lotto on the Podium level.
